Who are we looking for?

You already have 4-5 years of experience in the world of growth hacking, digital marketing or any other relevant branch. As a result, you have gained deep knowledge in managing and setting up channels such as SEA, SEO and social advertising. You not only have substantive knowledge about these channels, but you are also able to formulate and present data-driven strategies.

You are praised by others for your analytical, communication and creative skills. You also have a work hard, play hard mentality, an eye for detail and you love data. “Assumption is the mother of all f*ck-ups” is one of your favorite movie quotes for a reason. You also have a real growth mindset. You prefer to test everything, see failures as opportunities to learn and you prefer to put something live now to perfect it later.

• 4-5 years of experience as a growth hacker, channel specialist, online marketer or any other relevant position.
• At least a completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional knowledge of the English language, spoken and written.
• Deep knowledge of at least 2 of the following topics: SEO, SEA, email marketing, copywriting, content marketing, CRO, A / B testing, PR, (social) advertising and/or affiliate marketing.
• We'll give you extra points if you can write a functioning code of, for example, Python, HTML, JavaScript or similar. 
• A strategic vision that you can make concrete and convey to our customers.
• The ability to easily assess different organizations, customer journeys and processes.
• Experience in managing customers and/or coaching colleagues.
• Tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Sumo, ActiveCampaign and/or Hotjar hold no secrets from you.
• A love for data, experimentation and innovation.
• An accessible, organized and curious personality. 

What are you going to do?

As a Senior Growth Hacker you are responsible for creating growth for our customers. Where for some clients you work as a specialist, you will be attached to other projects as Head of Growth. This is a more guiding role in which you are responsible for the process and the results. You understand better than anyone that one company is not the same as another. Because where growth can be achieved for one in setting up a new channel to better reach the target group, it is important for others to find automated ways to improve their processes.

As a growth hacker, it is your quality to look at the entire customer journey in a holistic way. You translate both qualitative and quantitative data into insights that you use to suggest improvements for the entire customer journey. In doing this you do not lose sight of the bigger picture. You know better than anyone what it takes to really help a customer, and you can guide the client through that process.

In addition, you are constantly trying to improve yourself and the team. You do this, for example, by organizing internal knowledge sessions about your specializations, but also by coaching more junior colleagues in their personal development. You will therefore also have the time to continue to expand your deep knowledge areas, but also to keep your broad knowledge of other channels up to date. 

Where will you be working?

You will be working at RockBoost, a Dutch leading growth hacking agency. Together with DotControl, we are one family of more than 60 digital heroes. On a daily basis we realize growth in both the real and digital world. Together we form a growing stable organization with offices in Rotterdam, Heerlen and Willemstad (Curaçao) where you taste a true start-up culture.

You will work in an international team of 12 curious, enthusiastic and hard-working growth hackers. You will also work together in multidisciplinary teams with various designers, developers and scrum masters for clients such as 24Kitchen, Olympia and DPG Media.
